ThePCM1808 device uses a delta-sigma modulator with64-timesoversamplingand  includes a digitaldecimation filter and high-pass filter that removes thedc component of the inputsignal. For variousapplications,the PCM1808 device supports masterand slave mode and two data formats in serial audiointerface.
The PCM1808 device supports the power-down andreset functions by means of halting the system clock.The PCM1808 device is suitable for wide variety ofcost-sensitive consumer applications requiring goodperformance and operation with a 5-V analog supplyand 3.3-V digital supply. Fabrication of the PCM1808device uses a highly advanced CMos process.Thedevice is available in a small,14-pin TsSOPpackage.
