The TS3A227E is an autonomous audio accessorydetection and configuration switch that detects 3-poleor 4-pole audio accessories and configures internalswitches to route the signals accordingly.
The internal ground FETS of the TS3A227E have anultra-low RoN of 60 mQ to minimize crosstalk impact.The ground FETs are also designed to pass FMsignals,making it possible to use the ground line ofthe accessory as 'an FMantenna in mobile audioapplications.
lnternal isolation switches allow the TS3A227E toremove the click/pop noise that can be generatedduring and insertion or removal_of an audioaccessory. ln addition depletion FETs prevent afloating ground while thedevice is unpowered,removing the humming noise present when leavingaccessories plugged into an unpowered system.
